Defeat the Cold—Vacay Planner Style
Here are my 5 favorite ways to beat the chilly weather blues besides actually taking a vacation (aka, during the time I count down the days to my next trip!)
Research a new destination! —I’m currently deep diving Iceland and Ireland for our upcoming anniversary trip, celebrating 20 years!
Adopt a workout plan to prepare for my next trip—you know I love running at Disney, you can find out more about the training program I follow here. I find that having a goal or destination in mind takes some of the “suck” out of going to the gym!
Revamp the budget for the year—This one isn’t fun for me in itself, but when I put the carrot of “vacation” in there, I find I can get it done. Besides, having something big to look forward gives me something to picture when I’m telling myself no on budget busters or budget sneakies—like the starbucks. I just think about how much better it tastes when I bought it on Main Street, USA!
